Per Teachers Work Agreement Qualifications:
Industrial Technology Teacher license or ability to obtain, preferred. Applicant needs a strong understanding of the automotive field and the ability to connect with students positively. In addition, candidates should possess a willingness to incorporate technology into the classroom and have excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff.
Summary of Duties:
Provide instruction in Industrial Technology with focus on automotive and small engines. Prepare lessons that are connected with the approved standards and curriculum for the course; Engage students in the field; Create an engaging and respectful classroom environment; Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff; Focus on student growth. (There are numerous coaching and advising positions available.)
