Job Description

We're seeking a Distribution Technician to support utility distribution projects through field inspections, data collection, and equipment assessments. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning utility infrastructure, and developing a career in the power and engineering industry.
What You'll Do:
Conduct field inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems. Collect and document asset data using tablets, GPS devices, and database software. Perform utility audits, pole inspections, pad-mounted equipment inspections, and lighting audits. Gather measurements and prepare maintenance reports and minor work orders. Learn and apply utility construction standards and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) requirements. Follow company safety procedures and maintain accurate project documentation.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience required; training provided. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a field environment. Willingness to travel locally, with occasional overnight travel as needed. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
