Analyze plant processes, operating conditions, and production data to troubleshoot issues, identify trends, reduce process variability, and improve overall performance.
Perform process modeling, simulation, flow calculations, and other engineering analyses to evaluate existing processes and proposed improvements.
Develop and support capital improvement projects, helping move projects from initial studies and technical evaluation through implementation.
Evaluate process equipment and operating conditions to identify bottlenecks, equipment limitations, and opportunities to increase efficiency or production.
Develop and optimize process control strategies, control loops, alarms, and operator graphics to improve process stability and plant operation.
Conduct technical studies, plant trials, and experiments to determine potential process improvements and make data-driven recommendations.
Partner with operations, maintenance, R D, production engineering, and other technical teams to solve plant problems and implement improvements.
Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and ensure process changes and projects are completed safely and in accordance with environmental requirements. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.3+ years of relevant process, chemical, production, or process improvement engineering experience, preferably within chemical, process, or industrial manufacturing.
Experience with process modeling/simulation software, such as SysCAD, Aspen, CHEMCAD, or a comparable platform.
Strong understanding of plant processes, process equipment, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen; this position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship. Preferred ExperienceExperience with one or more of the following is a plus:

95K - $120K depending on experience Relocation Assistance Available Sirius Staffing is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity with a large chemical/process manufacturing facility in Hamilton, MS. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Engineer with at least 3+ years of relevant experience who enjoys solving plant problems, improving manufacturing processes, analyzing data, and helping take engineering improvements from concept through implementation.
