Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will perform precise repairs on aircraft blades and components, utilizing your mechanical skills and technical knowledge to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise in equipment repair, maintenance, and electrical systems will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in our repair processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with complex machinery in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties This individual must be proficient on all OEM repair manuals with a complete understanding of Aviation Standard Practices per
AC 43-13.
Perform various repairs using the following: o Vacuum & Pressure Bonding Techniques o Perform composite & metal skin repairs as required Ensure all product & documentation are accurate & complete per UAG quality specifications. Ensures that work orders move forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary as directed by Repair Lead. Evaluates & recommends improvements for procedures for quality control of products. Ensures department safety and cleanliness at all times. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Works well independently and with others. Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent critical thinking. Good communication skills. Organized with attention to detail and excellent time management Ability to prioritize and manage jobs. Active listening Excellent judgment and decision making Complex problem-solving abilities
Education and Experience:
Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required. 1-3 Years of related experience in the aviation industry preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Effort Moderate physical activity: ability to lift 70 lbs. Standing and/or walking for extended periods. Exposure to typical shop-floor conditions including dust, fumes, and noise. The company is a supplier which abides by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, persons considered for this position must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. Person under relevant ITAR regulations.
