We own multifamily properties and have a significant portfolio in Lake County IL. We're seeking a hard-working, problem-solving Maintenance Technician who can handle a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and figure things out—even when they've never done it before. Key Responsibilities Respond to and complete maintenance requests promptly and professionally Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and more Turn apartment units between tenants Maintain property grounds and ensure general cleanliness and safety Keep tools, parts, and materials organized and stocked Deliver excellent customer service to residents and communicate effectively with team Adapt to new challenges—no two days are the same!
Schedule & Territory Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00
PM Service Area:
Properties located across Mundelein and Waukegan Evenings/weekends may be required at month end for unit turns. Requirements General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry Comfortable working independently and solving problems on the fly Prior experience in property maintenance or general trades preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a background check Reliable transportation Ability to use mobile apps/work order systems for task management and communication Physical Requirements Lift 50+ lbs Climb ladders, work in basements/attics/tight spaces Work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow) Tools & Equipment Technician must supply their own hand tools
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate :
$25-$35/hour (based on experience) 40 hours/week with available overtime Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays Paid training Health care stipend Why Work With Us?
