• 2:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support automated and robotic manufacturing equipment within a production environment.

This position will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain production equipment, support process improvements, and help ensure reliable day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with robotics, automation, and manufacturing equipment and be comfortable troubleshooting equipment directly on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Support, troubleshoot, set up, and maintain automated and robotic manufacturing equipment . Diagnose equipment and production issues and assist with implementing corrective actions. Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Assist with equipment installation, setup, testing, and validation activities. Work closely with engineers to identify and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues . Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Make equipment adjustments and assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and automation-related problems. Support equipment calibration and documentation activities as required. Document equipment issues, repairs, maintenance activities, and corrective actions. Follow established manufacturing, safety, quality, and documentation procedures. Required Qualifications 3+ years of relevant manufacturing, equipment, automation, or technician experience with an Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. Hands-on experience supporting robotics and/or automated manufacturing equipment . Experience troubleshooting, setting up, maintaining, or supporting production/manufacturing equipment . Experience working alongside engineers on process improvements, equipment issues, or manufacturing troubleshooting . Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications 2-4+ years of directly related automation or manufacturing technician experience. Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing environment . Experience with equipment installation, qualification, or validation. Preventive and corrective maintenance experience. Equipment calibration experience. Experience supporting high-volume automated manufacturing or production environments. Schedule & Work Environment This is a fully onsite position in Arden Hills, Minnesota , working the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM . The role is a 12+ month contract opportunity and requires regular hands-on support of manufacturing and automation equipment on the production floor.
