Employment Opportunity - Pump and Field Technician View Job Description Apply Now To be considered for an interview, please complete the online form or call us for more information Job Summary Hands on installation, Service, and support of high-capacity wells and pumping equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair using knowledge of pumps, well water systems, various controls, and power tools Responsibilities Perform all diagnostics to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a timely manner. Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear Pull and set water well pumps Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts on equipment or machinery Operate repaired equipment to verify the effectiveness of the repair. Cut and weld metal to repair broken parts, fabricate new parts, or assemble equipment. Understand blueprints and manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery. Record parts and materials used for proper data collection, documentation, and ordering. Perform necessary piping installation and repairs of water lines, flow meters, and valves. Maintain effective relationship with customers while providing high quality customer service. Utilize safe working practices. Assist with the construction of center pivots. Requirements High School Graduate or Equivalent. Trade school diploma preferred. CDL preferred. Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Willing to work in various environments as well as long hours and occasional weekday overnight travel. Mechanical skills including machining and welding. Ability to provide and follow oral and written instructions.
