Job Description

Maintenance & Electrical Intern American Gypsum is seeking a motivated intern interested in gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This internship provides exposure to many areas of the business, including mining, quality control, environmental compliance, warehousing, and production, with a primary focus on maintenance and electrical operations. Key Responsibilities Assist the maintenance and electrical teams with supervised projects and daily activities. Learn about preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and electrical systems. Observe and support operations across production, mining, quality, environmental, and warehouse functions. Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training. Help maintain accurate project, inspection, and maintenance documentation. Complete an assigned project or presentation related to the internship experience. Qualifications Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a technical, electrical, maintenance, engineering, or related program. Interest in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or electrical systems. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work safely in an industrial environment. Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the position. Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a technical, electrical, maintenance, engineering, or related program. Interest in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or electrical systems. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work safely in an industrial environment. Ability to meet the physical and scheduling requirements of the position.
