Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this vital role, you'll diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance for our valued customers. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure vehicle safety and longevity when needed. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical issues. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Licenses or certifications a plus. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and vehicle diagnostics. Expertise in engine repair, transmissions, automotive suspension system repair including brake repairs. Familiarity with schematics reading, oil change procedures, tire service including shocks & struts replacement. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems and ability to perform mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools. Experience working with automotive service estimating. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repairs. Pay:
$27.00 - $31.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
