Job Description
- Overview
- Axia Electric is seeking an
- Electrical Field Engineer
- to play a key role in delivering complex electrical and process control systems for critical infrastructure projects inour Pacific Northwest Division.
- Electrical Division
- Since the early 1990s, Shimmick has been self-performing electrical scopes for infrastructure projects.
- Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: + Performing assignments that require the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria's to carry out engineering tasks.
- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. + Prior internships involving Rail, Transit, and/or Water/Wastewater construction projects. + Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail. + Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders. + Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks. + Highly organized with excellent time management skills. + Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.Additional Information:
+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. + This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. The salary range for this position is between- $80,000 - $95,000
- per year depending on experience and/or education.
