• Life Safety & Low Voltage Systems We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join a growing design team supporting life safety, fire protection, security, and low-voltage system projects.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career within a structured engineering and design environment and is motivated to learn from experienced professionals. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and revision of construction drawings, project documentation, and technical deliverables while supporting multiple ongoing projects. Key Responsibilities Create and revise construction drawings under supervision Develop floor plan layouts, riser diagrams, electrical interconnection drawings, and installation termination drawings Prepare project submittal packages, including product data sheets and battery calculations Maintain project drawing files and documentation Update and track as-built drawings Support engineering and design team members on assigned projects Required Qualifications Proficiency with AutoCAD (2014 or newer) 1-5 years of professional AutoCAD drafting experience Experience within construction-related environments Ability to read and interpret construction and electrical drawings Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience with Fire Alarm Systems Experience with Security Systems Experience with Access Control Systems Experience with Low Voltage Specialty Systems Experience supporting contractors, integrators, or engineering firms Experience with construction drawing preparation and revisions Experience with document control and project organization Ideal Candidate Takes the life-safety industry seriously and understands the importance of accurate design work Reliable, professional, and highly detail-oriented Interested in long-term career growth within engineering/design Coachable and eager to learn from senior team members Self-motivated and accountable
