Job Description
Our client in Kuna, ID is currently hiring for an Energy Marshal to support a large‑scale construction project. This is a permanent, on‑site position focused on coordinating and overseeing changes in energy events, ensuring compliance with site‑specific Control of Hazardous Energy requirements, and supporting commissioning activities. Pay

- $100,000 annually (depending on years of experience, tenure, and relevant technical expertise) Location

- Friday (40 hours per week) Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and enforcing site‑specific Control of Hazardous Energy requirements
- Review and validate safety programs from trade partners, vendors, and third‑party entities
- Review and authorize applications related to changes in on‑site energy events
- Coordinate with project owners, internal staff, craft teams, trade partners, utilities, and vendors to maintain project schedules
- Support commissioning activities, including first‑time energizations and first‑of‑kind processes
- Maintain, audit, and manage documentation related to energy change requests
- Conduct field audits to ensure site conditions align with authorized applications
- Identify hazardous conditions and establish safe boundaries until corrective processes are implemented
- Evaluate field activities to ensure approved procedures are followed
- Identify, document, and report discrepancies to the Project Management Team
- Derive system‑level operational understanding from schematics and technical documentation
- Coordinate with utility providers to establish safe operating conditions
- Identify operational requirements for systems ranging from low‑voltage control circuits to high‑voltage power transmission up to 230,000 volts
- Coordinate safe operation of equipment with vendors and trade partners
- Participate in first‑time energizations and commissioning activities
- Provide on‑site electrical safety and electrical awareness training
- Request, collect, catalog, and assemble trade partner submittals for project manuals and reports
- Integrate with Facility Solutions and Commissioning Associates
- Review, develop, and coordinate systems readiness and performance testing documentation
- Perform field observations to verify construction status
- Participate in videography efforts supporting owner training
- Lead and mentor Facility Solution Associate I and II team members
- Support Operational Project Readiness activities related to MEPF technical assessment, coordination, and implementation Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 2-5 years of related experience in safety, electrical, construction, or facilities environments
- Experience with safety coordination, electrical systems, and energy‑related processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills
- Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight
- OSHA 30 certification preferred Disqualifiers
- No experience supporting on‑site construction or commissioning environments
- No experience in safety or electrical coordination
