A company located in San Clemente has an opening for a precision Assembly Technician . This family-owned company has a unique, team-oriented environment. Many of their employees have been with the organization for several years. Employees are evaluated on their productivity, the number of different tasks they can perform, the quality of work, and the ability to work in a team. The shift is Monday through Friday 6AM to 2:30PM. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Once hired by the company, there are excellent company benefits. The starting pay is $21/hour, with the possibility of advancement within the first few months.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

There are four areas in the manufacturing of their modules. Training will be provided.

Material Preparation:

This involves collecting parts for assembly, soldering, and pre-assembly of some parts and preparation of module for assembly.

Assembling Stacks:

Individual cells are assembled in multiples, and held together with hardware.

Quality Control:

Thorough inspection of the units.

Module Testing:

Each module is tested for performance, accuracy, and quality Education and/or

Experience Required:

Some college preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English with competence and follow instructions. Able to proficiently work with numbers. Computer knowledge is a plus, but not required. Must be highly organized. Able to demonstrate mechanical and physical dexterity. Must have a positive attitude and be willing to grow in task performance Company will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.

Compensation / Pay

Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
