The main functions are machine operation, equipment maintenance, production documentation, and product & scrap handling.
Essential Functions:
Machine Operation:
Safely operate any piece of equipment in the department after formal training has taken place. Maintain a safe working environment and use all necessary equipment required for each particular job.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained in accordance with documented Routine & Preventive maintenance instructions.
Production Documents:
Accurately & completely document all pertinent production traveler information, manufacturing inspection plans, etc..
Product & Scrap Handling:
Move raw material and finished product to appropriate locations as instructed by the wire supervisor. Properly segregate and identify any scrap generated during manufacturing. Move scrap to the designated location on the floor. Various duties as assigned.
