Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career specializing in emergency care by providing critical support to patients in a dynamic ER setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering expert care during night shifts in a fast-paced medical environment, supporting a Level One trauma team for a 13-week assignment.
Schedule/Hours:
Options for 36 or 48 hours per week Night shifts No on-call requirements
Qualifications:
Current Rhode Island RN license or compact state eligibility Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of one year Level One ER experience is required Successful completion of the Voice Advantage Interview (List A) Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize under pressure, and provide compassionate care in high-acuity situations Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Triage, assess, and treat adults and pediatric patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions Accurately administer medications and interventions per physician orders and facility protocols Monitor and document patient status, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams Provide patient and family education during high-stress scenarios Respond rapidly to emergencies, following all safety and quality standards Participate in required orientation (every other weekend), starting on designated start dates: 9/28 or 10/12
