Job Description
Key Competencies:
Technical Competencies Line Loading Techniques- Ability to correctly hang, secure, and space parts according to diagrams and specifications. Unloading & Handling
- Safe removal of finished parts without damaging coating or material. Part Identification
- Ability to match parts to work orders and staging requirements. Masking & Prep Skills
- Knowledge of basic masking, plugging, and surface prep methods. Quality Awareness
- Ability to identify coating defects (thin spots, scratches, missed areas). Equipment Familiarity
- Understanding of conveyor systems, racks, and material handling tools. Safety Practices
- Proper lifting, ergonomics, and PPE use in a finishing environment. Workplace Competencies Attention to Detail
- Ensures parts are oriented and loaded correctly for full coverage. Time Management
- Keeps pace with automated line speeds and production demands. Teamwork
- Works closely with painters, inspectors, and packaging associates. Communication
- Reports shortages, misloads, or quality issues promptly to supervisors. Organization
- Maintains clean, efficient loading/unloading areas and racks. Adaptability

Standing/Walking:
Must stand and walk on concrete floors for 6-8 hours per shift , frequently moving between loading stations, conveyors, and racks.Lifting/Carrying:
Frequently lifts and carries parts weighing 30-50 lbs ; team lifting required for heavier or oversized items.Pushing/Pulling:
Regular pushing and pulling of loaded racks, hangers, and carts, requiring up to 50-75 lbs of force .Reaching/Handling:
Frequent overhead reaching to hang and remove parts on conveyor hooks. Frequent handling and grasping of parts, hooks, and tools.Repetitive Motions:
High-frequency use of hands, arms, and shoulders to position and remove parts on the line.Bending/Kneeling:
Occasional bending, crouching, or stooping to pick up or align lower-positioned items.Vision:
Requires close vision and depth perception to ensure proper placement and spacing of parts.Hearing:
Ability to hear conveyors, alarms, and verbal instructions in a noisy shop environment. Work Environment Exposure to heat from ovens and fluctuating shop temperatures. Exposure to powder dust, sharp edges, and moving equipment (conveyors, racks). Consistent use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators if required).Similar remote jobs
