Fabrication Sewer Operator

POSITION SUMMARY

SmartSign is looking for exceptional candidates with problem-solving abilities and hands-on sewing experience to join our growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining our range of sewing machines to ensure optimal operational efficiency .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

Prepare and organize raw materials, ensuring they are properly measured and cut to specifications. Operate and maintain textile machinery such as sewing machines, cutting machines, and presses. Execute various fabricating techniques including sewing, stitching, bonding, and assembling to create finished textile products. Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate execution of projects. Monitor the quality of finished products, identifying defects or imperfections and making necessary adjustments. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality protocols. Participate in team meetings to discuss production progress, challenges, and improvements. Follow established production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to equipment or processes. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and technology advancements in textile fabrication. Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as a Sewing Machine Operator. Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read a Tape Measure.
