CPA Accountant We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across tax, accounting, and client services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business tax preparation services. Bookkeeping and write-up services. General ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation. Preparation of workers' compensation schedules. Annual and quarterly payroll tax return preparation and review. Annual 1099 preparation and filing. Sales and property tax return preparation. Client account management and communication. Assist with special projects for clients. Accurately input financial data into accounting systems (Rover). Maintain and update client financial records and databases. Enter journal entries and reconcile discrepancies. Organize and digitize financial documents. Review data for completeness and accuracy. Support tax return preparation through document input and verification.

Qualifications:

Active CPA license required. 3-5+ years of experience (CPA firm experience preferred). Strong understanding of cash and accrual accounting. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.

Proficiency in:

Accounting CS (Creative Solutions Accounting), Rover (or similar platforms, Tax preparation software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic. Commitment to long-term employment.
