Job Description

Pacesetter Technology is looking for an entry-level Accounting Partner to assist in our financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact for all financial matters, working closely with our Controller and external accounting partners. Responsibilities and opportunities : Support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounting and finance operations Organize and maintain digital accounting files and documentation Assist with data entry and basic transaction coding under supervision Help track outstanding items and follow up internally for missing information Assist in pulling reports for month-end close and management review Perform basic Excel tasks (sorting, filtering, formulas, pivots with guidance) Learn best practices for accuracy, documentation, and confidentiality Develop analytical skills over the course of the internship by supporting higher-level financial tasks, including contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and projection exercises using real company data and established templates.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Communication:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and executive leadership.
Technical Skills:
Some knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP). Experience with financial management software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-Oriented:
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial reporting.
