Senior Level Salary:
$20 - $25 per hour Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Grant Billing Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in the financial management of our grants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of grant billing and compliance, including adherence to budgets and funder policies, auditing of grant expenses, and communication with funding agencies. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of financial principles.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of grant billing and compliance, ensuring adherence to budgets and funder policies. Conduct regular audits of grant expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with funder requirements. Communicate effectively with funding agencies regarding billing practices, seeking clarification and making necessary changes as required. Track hours related to grants to ensure accurate billing and compliance with funder requirements. Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insight into grant expenditure and compliance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing of grants. Stay current with changes in funder policies and regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant. Provide guidance and training to other team members on grant billing and compliance processes.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in grant billing, compliance, or a related role. Strong understanding of budgeting principles and financial management. Proven experience with auditing and compliance processes. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with funding agencies. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of the Non profit industry, including funder policies and regulations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
