Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting Compensation:
$90,000-$95,000 +Annual Bonus Location:
Orlando, FL Why This Senior Accountant Opportunity Stands Out This Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting role offers the opportunity to join a corporate accounting team supporting a complex organization with multiple subsidiary entities. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, Corporate Accounting , this position will have broad exposure to general accounting, consolidations, financial analysis, fixed assets, financial statement preparation, audit support, and process improvement. The role is well suited for an experienced accountant who enjoys working across teams, managing competing priorities, and finding ways to make accounting processes more efficient through technology and automation.What this opportunity offers:
Broad responsibility across Corporate Accounting and general ledger activities Exposure to accounting and reporting for multiple subsidiary entities Hands-on involvement with consolidations and intercompany accounting Opportunity to work with Corporate and subsidiary accounting leadership Exposure to SOX 404 testing , quarterly reviews, and annual audit activities Responsibility for corporate fixed assets and related accounting Opportunity to improve close and consolidation processes Collaboration with FP&A, Technical Accounting, Risk, Benefits , and other Corporate teams Interaction with subsidiary accounting management teams Opportunity to develop and implement automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Power Query, Copilot, Python, and SQL Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Prepare monthly Corporate journal entries and maintain supporting documentation Complete monthly Corporate general ledger account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and rollforwards Research and resolve account reconciliation discrepancies Analyze monthly fluctuations in Corporate GL account balances and investigate variances from expectations Assist with the consolidation of subsidiary financial information Research and resolve intercompany balance differences between subsidiaries Review monthly subsidiary reporting packages Prepare consolidated schedules and rollforwards Support accounting for new Corporate fixed asset purchases, including reviewing applicable accounting guidance and documenting conclusions Assist subsidiary accounting teams with questions regarding similar fixed asset transactions Maintain the accuracy of the Corporate fixed asset subledger Prepare Corporate and Consolidated segment balance sheet fluctuation analyses Investigate significant subsidiary-level fluctuations and discuss findings with subsidiary accounting management Prepare annual standalone and consolidating financial statements for various subsidiary entities Assist with general ledger maintenance, including requests for new GL accounts and entities and changes to account hierarchies Identify and recommend ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Corporate close and consolidation processes Coordinate with internal and external auditors regarding quarterly reviews, annual audit documentation, SOX 404 testing , and related inquiries Respond to ad-hoc accounting and financial questions from internal stakeholders, including Executive Management Collaborate with Corporate department teams and subsidiary accounting management Support automation initiatives and process enhancements where appropriate Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA license preferred 2-3 years of public accounting experience with a large public accounting firm Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with BlackLine, Oracle, and Hyperion is a plus #INSEP2026
