Job Description
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Lead the more complex financial accounting activities; ensure financials are prepared, reconciled, and reported timely and accurately in accordance with company accounting policies and GAAP.
- Provide leadership to accountants across the organization, acting as a resource, proposing solutions and resolving questions.
- Lead testing and be a subject matter expert during accounting system implementations and upgrades.
- Understand, explain, and communicate monthly financial results along with identification and explanation of variances including business risks, drivers, and impacts.
- Serve as key operational business partner, develop and deliver to the business ad-hoc analysis along with proactively identifying meaningful metrics and data trends.
- Deliver financial statements and analysis along with business support leveraging a high level of independent judgment, accuracy, and initiative.
- Support external and internal audits, as necessary.
- Identify and implement efforts to improve financial processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree required.
- Master's degree is preferred or CPA is preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and or finance experience required. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred) and consolidation systems (HFM preferred)
- Ability to solve problems independently and resourcefully.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think analytically.
- Ability to break down problems and provide recommendations for solutions.
- Function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, specifically in pivot tables, vlook-ups, formulas, and functions. Travel
- Travel is not required.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is subject to sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
