Senior Accountant Cpa

Job DescriptionJob Description About the Opportunity Legacy Career Solutions is partnering with a global, privately held organization in the hospitality and travel industry to identify a Senior Accountant (General Accounting) . This role will support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close in a complex, multi-entity, international environment. The company is currently undergoing an ERP implementation, and the accounting team is operating under significant workload pressure, creating an opportunity for a strong accounting professional to make an immediate impact. Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Maintain and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances
• Review contracts and apply appropriate accounting treatment
• Support financial reporting and work closely with FP&A
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
• Support ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central)
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and reporting accuracy Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA a plus)
• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger and close experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience in multi-entity environments preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Preferred Experience
• Hospitality, travel, or service-based industry experience
• Exposure to international accounting or foreign currency
