SUMMARY:

This critical logistics position is responsible for supporting the company's goals by receiving, delivering, and processing sampling shipments of coffee beans.

JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Collect, process, and label samples of the incoming shipments and transport them. Distribute samples to customers as required. Comply with safety rules and regulations. Document sample distribution in the inventory management system. Assist in the training personnel in quality control procedures and review processes. Weekly warehouse inventory. Place orders when necessary. Monthly fire extinguisher inspections. Training for contractors. Daily QA and safety walk through the warehouse. Responsible for the Chemical Master List issues, PPE, and monitoring of Inventory. Issue and control high security seals. Assist with outside security procedures. Handles incidents and accident reporting. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Education and/or experience: Prior experience necessary.

Language skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write & speak the English language.

Mathematical skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to communicate effectively with others. The employee must be able to use their hands and reach with their arms. The employee is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee may lift or move up to 30 pounds.

Must be fluent working with Excel and or Google Sheets & be able to work at a fast pace with a sense of urgency.
