We're looking to add a detail-oriented Automobile Damage Appraiser to our growing team. About the Role As an Appraiser, you'll be the eyes and expertise behind every vehicle that crosses our auction block. You'll inspect vehicles, document their condition, and capture photographs that give our buyers — both online and in person — the accurate, trustworthy information they need to bid with confidence. What You'll Do Verify matching VIN numbers on each vehicle Inspect and confirm engine size, transmission type, color, trim code, and mileage Check odometer readings in miles and/or kilometers Document any pre-existing physical or mechanical damage Identify, document, and price current physical or mechanical damage Photograph each vehicle thoroughly, including overall condition, damage, and any prior repairs Upload appraisal findings and images via handheld computer for each account Support other auction operations as needed What You Bring Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions Must be 18 years of age or older A valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in the automotive industry Basic computer proficiency Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Occasional evening or weekend work based on business needs All offers of employment are contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
