Job Description

Entry Level Accountant/ AP Clerk Environmental Quality Resources, LLC (EQR) is looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to manage the company's payments to vendors. Typical duties include verifying invoices, processing payments and generating detailed reports. EQR is a for profit environmental construction firm, what we do improves the Chesapeake Bay.

Required qualifications:

1+ years experience in accounting or 2+ years education in accounting/ finance degree Team player In-depth accounting knowledge of financial statements, invoices, accounts payable practices and general accounting terminology Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software, such as QuickBooks Understanding of expense reports and regulatory compliance Communication skills to coordinate or clarify payment terms Data entry skills, including accuracy and the ability to generate accounts payable reports
