What We Are Looking For We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team and take ownership of key day-to-day accounting responsibilities, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This is an important role within our company. We need someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and proactive—someone who notices when something doesn't look right and takes the initiative to get it resolved.

- Professional and comfortable communicating with employees, customers, vendors, and management
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
- Comfortable learning and using technology and software systems
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team member
- The ability to pass a background check (required post-job offer) Preferred Skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with spreadsheets, particularly Google Sheets
- Experience processing payroll
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Experience with Paychex Flex or similar payroll software
- Experience in a construction, landscaping, snow removal, service, or other job-based business
- Experience working with timekeeping/payroll systems
