Job Description

Staffworks is seeking an Entry-Level Office Clerk to join our team! The Office Clerk plays a key role in supporting accounts receivable operations and ensuring timely payment for goods and services provided to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to build a career in an office environment.
Pay:
$17.00•$17.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Responsibilities:
Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and accounts receivable transactions. Create and submit invoices according to company procedures. Maintain and update customer account records, including address changes and account updates. Draft correspondence regarding past-due accounts and assist with collection efforts. Review delinquent accounts and contact customers regarding outstanding balances. Generate reports on customer account status as requested. Research and resolve customer discrepancies and past-due balances. Copy, file, and retrieve accounts receivable documentation as needed. Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Basic office and customer service experience preferred but not required. If you are looking for a career, apply now #IND1
