REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and formulas. Ability to prioritize and manage expectations. Keen eye to detail Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with co-workers and customers. Ability to manage time. Excellent organization skills Strong math, typing, and computer skills. High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; At least two years of A/R or A/P experience required.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Process invoices to vendors on a daily basis Researches and resolves any account discrepancies. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data. Works alongside AR to ensure all invoices are entered into the correct job for billing purposes. Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer invoices. Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions. Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested. Daily filing and worksheet updating Creates jobs, change orders, PO's as requested. Relays changes of information to appropriate employees. Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records. Reconcile statements. Multiple other duties pertaining to Accounts Payable.
