Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a Collector / Claims Administrator. Pay:
$25.00 per hour (depending on experience) Access to Adecco's Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling coursesResponsibilities:
- Work with peers to develop processes to assist with intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication and tracking of workers' compensation injury claims.
- Collaborate with third-party claims administrator (TPA) to perform exposure/ coverage determination, cost estimation, and case management.
- Coordinate claim managing from notification to close.
- Engage with peers in minimizing both the exposure and the financial loss resulting from claims.
- Coordinate and communicate claim notification and findings to safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management and law departments.
- Obtain necessary documentation, records, statements, and regulations and investigate scope of claim/ incident.
- In this role you will work collaboratively with business partners and insurance carriers to manage and resolve Workers Compensation claims.
- We are seeking an individual who is detail oriented and with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively maintain information pertaining to worker status updates, medical appointments, opportunities for modified duty work, claim resolution and management of claim costs.
Requirements:
- Claims Administrator should have strong organizational skills and will be expected to thoroughly document and report out on claim management processes.
- Be self-motivated, results oriented and proactive.
- 2+ years of similar administrative work experience.
- Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer, organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office application Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience handling Workers' Compensation insurance claims.
- Experience in a field service organization This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
