The Compliance Lead (IATF) is responsible for strategic leadership for compliance, LMS and QMS, audits, customer-specific requirements, IATF 16949 certification, and continual improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance Programs:

Maintain compliance programs tailored to meet

IATF 16949

standards and other relevant regulations.

Internal Audits:

Schedule internal audits to assess compliance with

IATF 16949.

Training and Education:

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance policies, procedures, and

IATF 16949

standards.

Certification Support:

Lead efforts to help maintain

IATF 16949

certification by ensuring all requirements are met.

Report and Address Violations:

Identify, report, and address any compliance violations or discrepancies.

Documentation and Reporting:

Communicate compliance activities and prepare reports for senior management.

Customer Requirements:

Manage the customer specific requirements process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as Supply Chain, Production, and Engineering, to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance.

Continuous Improvement:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by collaborating with various departments. Support CAPA and Root Cause Analysis, Drive KPI-based improvements, Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects and Support Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Customer Inquiries:

Facilitate customer surveys.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Travel:

<5% of travel (training sessions, conferences, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or related field. 7-10 years in Quality Systems/Compliance. Leadership experience. Expert knowledge of

IATF 16949, ISO

9001 and Automotive Core Tools. Experience with CAQ/Q-Studio or equivalent. Internal Auditing Qualification preferred Must have strong written and oral communication skills Strong business acumen and a good understanding of technical complexities Strong customer facing skills - building relationships, handling negotiations and selling preferred Considerable experience working with product technology, processes or market Proven ability to deliver results Critical thinking and decision making
