Financial Analyst
About the Role Overview Our entertainment client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Residuals team. This role supports the analysis and processing of residual payments tied to contractual and guild obligations across multiple business units. The position combines financial analysis with operational support to ensure accurate, timely payments to talent, unions, and benefit plans. Key Responsibilities Analyze and process residual payments in accordance with guild agreements and internal requirements
Review and interpret talent contracts and collective bargaining agreements to ensure accurate calculations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies during quarterly residual cycles
Partner with internal teams and production partners to support residuals processing and reporting
Communicate with third-party payroll vendors to troubleshoot and resolve payment issues
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to residuals
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
2-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or residuals
Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
Studio or guild residuals experience is a big plus
Ability to interpret contracts and collective bargaining agreements
