Full Job Description Company Overview:
The Kobawala Group is a large group that's businesses fall into manufacturing, distribution, and supply of woven and non-woven polypropylene. We are a fast-paced, multi-sector operation seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with 3-5 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in an office environment with diverse product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
Maintain accurate financial records Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage accounts payable and receivable Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Handle journal entries and general ledger maintenance
Trading & Inventory Support:
Reconcile trading transactions and inventory movement with financial records Record purchase and sales orders accurately Support costing and margin analysis for different product categories
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and industry regulations Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors
Administrative & Team Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, procurement, and logistics teams Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking Provide financial insights for business decision-making
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3-5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks 1-2 years of experience in international trade, manufacturing, or distribution environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software Familiarity with payroll processing, cash flow management, and financial services operations. Ability to conduct thorough account analysis and manage budgetary processes effectively. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
