Job Description:
About the Role We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys mentoring others, and wants their work to have a real, visible impact on the business. You'll take ownership of core accounting operations while helping shape processes as we scale. What You'll Do Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage and mentor a small team of accountants, providing guidance and supporting their professional development Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, operations, sales) to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions Own and continuously improve accounting processes, controls, and systems Support external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors Prepare and present financial reports and insights to leadership Assist with ad hoc projects, including system implementations and process automation initiatives What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior supervisory or lead experience CPA preferred (or actively pursuing) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills A collaborative mindset
