Front Office Manager or General Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel's front desk operations during overnight hours, ensuring all daily financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced, and providing exceptional guest service throughout the night. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in accuracy, and has a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform nightly accounting audits of daily transactions, including room charges, cash, and credit card postings. Balance and reconcile all accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Prepare and distribute daily reports to management. Greet and assist late arrivals and early departures with check-in/check-out procedures. Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner. Ensure the security of the property during overnight hours by monitoring entrances and performing occasional property walks. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Qualifications & Requirements Previous hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred, but not required (training provided). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in computer systems; experience with hotel PMS software is a plus. Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
