Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist, using ADP Software and a General Administration professional. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the company's payroll processes while also supporting various administrative functions that ensure the smooth operation of the organization. You will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position requires a high level of organization and efficiency, as you will be handling sensitive employee information and coordinating with various departments to facilitate a seamless payroll experience. Additionally, you will assist in general administrative tasks, which may include maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment efforts, and managing office supplies. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in payroll software, have excellent analytical skills, and possess a strong understanding of labor laws. Responsibilities Process payroll on a weekly basis and ensure accuracy of all payroll transactions. Maintain and update employee records, including taxes, benefits, and deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislation and regulations. Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review. Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation and training schedules. Manage employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits in a timely manner. Support general administrative tasks including inventory management, supplier coordination, and office organization. Requirements Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, ideally in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of ADP payroll software and tools, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements related to payroll and employee benefits. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to address employee inquiries and collaborate with team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Sage Intacct experience for payroll reporting and analysis preferred.
