Waterbury, onsite
Salary:

Controller:
Direct and oversee administrative, treasury and financial activities of the Company, including cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and costing. Identify and escalate variances in key financial performance indicators and trends that may require management attention. Direct and supervise the preparation of financial reports for internal and external use. Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance. Maintain banking relationships and necessary reporting requirements. Obtain and assist in the preparation of any necessary outside auditor review of financial statement and/or tax return and 5500 reporting. Monitor costs within the costing system, including labor and overhead rates. Understand cost drivers and be familiar with bills of material, work centers and manufacturing workflow. Responsible for the administration of the overall computer network. Provide direction and leadership to a small staff. This is a "hands on" position requiring performance of routine accounting functions. Preferred Experience of the
Controller:
Proven experience as a Controller or finance leader within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong background in financial report writing, account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and general ledger oversight. Demonstrated expertise in cash management, forecasting, and financial analysis using accounting software such as Sage or equivalent tools. Excellent understanding of financial concepts related to manufacturing operations including cost control and inventory valuation methods.
