The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, bring strong technical and analytical skills, and serve as a trusted business partner to ownership and senior management. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, managing risk, and supporting sound business decisions across the organization. Provide financial insight and recommendations to ownership and senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making. Identify potential financial and operational issues early, communicate their significance and urgency, and recommend appropriate courses of action. Partner with leadership to evaluate overhead, labor, and operating expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Strengthen financial controls, processes, and reporting capabilities as the business continues to grow. Support management with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and other financial analysis as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred. Strong understanding of inventory accounting, accounts receivable, working capital, and cash flow management. Familiarity with commodity hedging strategies; experience with precious metals or other commodity-based businesses strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience managing, developing, and leading an accounting or finance team. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly present financial information and business risks to ownership and senior leadership. Ability to operate as both a strategic financial partner and a hands-on leader in a growing organization. Strong judgment, accountability, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic business environment.
