Patient Support Specialist Location:
Whippany, NJ Pay Rate/Schedule:
Early Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM): $19.00/hour Late Shift (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM): $20.90/hour Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and customer-focused Patient Support Specialists to join a high-touch, concierge-style healthcare support team. In this role, you will assist patients, physicians, and pharmacies with access to prescription medications through copay assistance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, empathy, and experience in healthcare, patient support, or case management. Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, physicians, and pharmacies. Provide support regarding copay assistance programs, eligibility, reimbursement, and access to care. Deliver a "white glove" customer experience focused on patient satisfaction and medication adherence. Assist with claims processing and respond to program-related inquiries. Escalate complex issues as needed and collaborate with internal teams to resolve concerns. Document interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Requirements Strong customer service and communication skills. Healthcare, patient support, medical office, pharmacy, insurance, or case management experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computer systems and data entry. #IND806
