Job Description

Endoscopy Center of Marin is looking to add a new Scheduling/Back Office team member. This position is a full-time position; 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication, and customer service skills with attention to detail. This individual must be an efficient team player, but also self-directed and able to meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills are a necessity as we use a full electronic medical records program. Epic and Teams knowledge and experience a big plus.
Other duties include:
Scheduling Patients for Endoscopy Procedures within Epic. Reviews medical records for completeness. Responds to requests for information from files according to established policies and procedures. Operates computer to retrieve data and file signed correspondence and reports. Answers calls from Clinical staff and patients. Comply with federal HIPAA regulations and practice policies for the privacy and security of patient information; explain the law and our privacy policy to patients as needed. Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating irregularities, and continuing needs. Checks tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service / medical office environments, 1-3 years of experience in a busy medical practice, and a proven track record of sustained employment.
