Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and support personnel, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory control and food procurement processes to minimize waste and optimize costs while maintaining freshness and quality. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and dietary guidelines across all food handling procedures. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision to deliver memorable culinary experiences. Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and oversee training programs to maintain efficiency during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in food production and restaurant management. Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food handling, cooking techniques, and menu planning. Demonstrated supervisory skills with a history of leading diverse kitchen teams effectively. Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control practices. Experience in banquet service, catering operations, and large-scale food service management. Familiarity with dietary department standards and food safety protocols. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
