Category Schools - Audiologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity to make an impact supporting students' educational journeys as a contract Audiologist. This unique, short-term assignment invites an experienced audiology professional to work alongside a dedicated Nurse to conduct an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) for auditory processing needs. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping determine student support strategies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for learners. Located onsite in the Naperville, IL area, the position allows you to focus on a single evaluation and contribute your specialized knowledge as part of a collaborative team. A flat fee will be compensated upon completion of the assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Illinois Audiologist License required Successful track record of performing auditory processing evaluations, preferably in educational settings Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
Complete a comprehensive auditory processing evaluation for a student as part of the IEE process Collaborate with the Nurse and educational partners to support a holistic assessment Prepare thorough, timely evaluation documentation aligned with educational guidelines Provide clear, actionable recommendations based on assessment findings
