Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician. This position provides essential coverage during a maternity leave, ensuring continuity of care and meaningful progress for young learners. With the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll make a significant impact throughout the fall and winter, from September 23, 2026 to January 11, 2027.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience implementing behavior intervention plans in a school or pediatric setting. Familiarity working under the supervision of a BCBA. Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff. Compassion, patience, and a commitment to positive behavior supports. Ability to maintain detailed records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one or in groups with elementary students under BCBA direction. Implement behavior support plans and collect ongoing data. Assist with social, academic, and behavioral goals within the classroom environment. Collaborate with staff and participate in team meetings as needed. Contribute to a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes student growth. Meet documentation and reporting requirements consistently and accurately.
