Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing tailored therapeutic interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role involves collaborating with families and other professionals to create a supportive environment that fosters growth and development. At DIAS Consulting, we emphasize a value/assent-based model rather than a compliance-driven one. This means that the client's voluntary agreement to participate in therapy—referred to as assent—is crucial. If we do not have the client's assent during sessions, we pause our activities. We prioritize the client's comfort by allowing them to opt-out when necessary, ensuring that their favorite toys remain accessible, and involving them in the goal-setting and therapeutic process from start to finish. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment of each client's needs. Collect and analyze data to track client behavior and treatment effectiveness. Provide direct therapy sessions in various settings, including home, school, or community environments. Collaborate with families to educate them on strategies that support their child's development. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress in accordance with organizational policies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in working with individuals with disabilities. Skills Strong background in special education or related fields is preferred. Proficient in data collection methods and patient assessment techniques. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, particularly autism. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to provide patient care with empathy and understanding. A commitment to fostering a positive environment for clients' growth and development. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve through compassionate care and professional expertise.
