They play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans and provide one-on-one services to children across various settings, including clinics, hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, and in-home environments. BTs utilize evidence-based techniques to promote meaningful improvements in each child's quality of life. Through structured interventions, they work to reduce maladaptive behaviors while fostering the development of appropriate, functional skills. In addition, BTs focus on teaching and strengthening communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills within engaging and play-based environments to enhance motivation and encourage positive outcomes. Accurate data collection is a core responsibility, as BTs consistently record and track each patient's progress in alignment with their individualized treatment plan to ensure effective and measurable results.
Responsibilities:
As a Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collecting and recording data on client progress
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with the treatment team to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
  • Providing support and guidance to clients and their families
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and valid driver's license
  • Ability to interact with children( i.e. running and implementing physical intervention and strategies) and lifting up to 40lbs
  • Comfortable working with children who display behavior challenges
  • 2 years experience working with children in any capacity Please note that this offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and any other pre-employment requirements as deemed necessary by the company.

Clinical Rate $20
  • 25/hr Admin/Training Rate $16.
