Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with autism and other behavioral health challenges, implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to document medical records accurately while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans for clients under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst. Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation. Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient care and outcomes. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral health practices. Skills Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and principles. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and contribute to treatment planning. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively.
