Behavior Technician The Aptus Group - 4.6 Los Angeles, CA Job Details Part-time $24 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a school-based Behavior Technician (BII). As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one behavioral support to students during the school day. Working closely with teachers and school teams, you'll help students build positive behaviors and reach their full potential. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus Experience working with children or youth in school or clinical setting is preferred Availability to work Monday through Friday during school hours Strong written and verbal communication skills Bilingual in Spanish is a plus Reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral support to assigned student(s) throughout the school day Implement behavior intervention strategies and support plans Maintain accurate documentation of daily progress and student behavior Support students with transitions and social-emotional regulation Assist with daily routines, which may include lunch, recess, and bathroom use if needed Work collaboratively with classroom staff, school teams, and supervisors Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times The Aptus Group participates in E verify.
