Job Description

About Us Circle of Care provides behavior-analytic services to children and adults with disabilities across Central Florida. We build skills, safety, and independence for families navigating severe autism. Position Overview The RBT is a paraprofessional who implements behavior-analytic programs to support skill development and reduce challenging behavior, under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA and/or BCaBA. The ideal candidate is someone who is currently collecing hours and seeking supervision to sit for the BCaBA or BCBA exam. Key Responsibilities Build trusting, supportive relationships with the individuals and families you serve, treating every home with respect Provide patient, consistent 1:1 and small-group instruction using behavior-analytic strategies, meeting each person where they are Implement individualized treatment plans as designed by the supervising BCBA/BCaBA, carrying out skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction procedures with fidelity Notice and respond to each individual's needs, adapting with empathy and sound clinical judgment Collect and record accurate session data so the whole care team stays aligned Communicate warmly and professionally with families and caregivers

Qualifications Required:

Active or in-progress Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification High school diploma required (Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred) Strong communication skills and a commitment to following procedures with consistency Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally for in-home and community sessions Schedule & Setting Part-time

• up to 25 hours a week Physical Requirements Ability to sit, kneel, and move on the floor with clients; respond and reposition quickly to maintain safety; lift up to [50] lbs; and sustain the physical, mental, and emotional demands of a full session. Comfortable remaining calm and effective during high-stress crisis situations. Compensation $22 - $25 /hour, based on experience, certification, and assignment.
