Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital surgical support role where your expertise as a CVOR Tech will contribute directly to outstanding patient outcomes. Your knowledge and experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures will be valued as you collaborate with a skilled surgical team during each procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning. Assist surgeons and nurses during complex cardiovascular procedures, handling instruments and supplies efficiently. Monitor and maintain a sterile surgical field throughout operations. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly during procedures. Support accurate documentation of operative procedures and patient information. Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital or surgical center environment. Proficient in sterile technique and maintaining aseptic conditions. Strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (preferred); must meet any applicable state requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
