Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), or another nationally recognized sleep technology credential accepted under applicable AASM standards Minimum 1 year of polysomnographic technologist experience. Previous experience working in an AASM-accredited sleep center Experience performing attended diagnostic and therapeutic studies, including PAP titrations , according to physician orders, established protocols, and applicable AASM standards Current BLS certification Strong clinical judgment with the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to medical emergencies Ability to work independently and safely in an overnight sleep laboratory environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Ability to accurately document clinical and technical information in an EHR/sleep laboratory system Key Responsibilities Perform attended diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies, including PAP titrations, according to physician orders, established protocols, and applicable AASM standards Prepare patients for testing and accurately apply electrodes and sensors to obtain EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, airflow, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and other required physiologic measurements Monitor patients throughout the study and recognize abnormal respiratory patterns, cardiac arrhythmia, sleep-related events, and other clinically significant findings Initiate appropriate interventions in accordance with physician orders, laboratory protocols, and patient safety guidelines Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and perform AED procedures when indicated and permitted by established protocols Document patient history, questionnaires, technical observations, interventions, and study information accurately and completely Perform equipment setup, calibration, troubleshooting, cleaning, and routine quality-control checks Provide patients and families with clear explanations of the sleep study process and create a calm, reassuring overnight experience Maintain effective communication with the Medical Director and other clinical team members when questions, significant findings, or patient concerns arise Work independently during overnight testing while maintaining a high standard of patient safety and technical quality Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Maintain compliance with applicable AASM accreditation standards, laboratory policies, and patient safety requirements

Pay:

$50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
